Access2 through the Easter Seals program is offered to Canadians with a permanent disability who require a support person for travel and to experience attractions throughout Canada. The Access2 pass has different perks depending on the attraction and location. Most locations allow those with this pass to get their support person into the attraction free of charge (basically a 2 for 1).

There is an application process to receive an access2 card and a $20 fee for 3 years or $30 for 5 years. A medical professional must fill out and sign Section C – Health Care Professional Authorization as part of the application process.

Check out the website and provinces for attractions that are part of the Access2 pass.

That is great to hear!  One big barrier to traveling is the expenses!  Many people need to pay for double airfare, etc just to go on a vacation!

Glad to see canada has an option to help ease the financial burden.
