I unfortunately had to make do with the room that I had 😰, after I’d spent 3 nights there on check-out I asked to speak to the Manager again and all he could offer me in compensation was a free dinner at the hotel. Needless to say we never took him up on that offer and on the way back from Australia we of course stayed at a different hotel…
janebo and MakI’m looking forward to travelling to Japan early Thursday morning via Hong Kong with Cathay Pacific. During my time in Japan I’ll be staying at quite a few hotels. So, I will definitely sharing my experiences. I’m also doing some planning when I go to Japan next March/April for the sakura season with my parents. Can’t wait to show them Japan !

Hotels Have Come A Long Way With Accessibility — But There's Still So Much Work To Be Done
Hotel rooms are not designed with me in mind. But hopefully, that's going to change.

We checked into the Orchard Hotel in Singapore and I had booked an accessible room, on the first afternoon I went down and said it was unsuitable as I couldn’t get out of the bathroom, they were very apologetic and said they only have 2 accessible rooms and the other was occupied
