    • In Belgium, mobility scooters are allowed on the train (although limits to size and weight apply) and in the subway. Not on buses and trams, however. 
      The official reason of ‘safety’ is never explained. As far as I know, if you can position yourself with your back towards the driver there shouldn’t be a safety issue.
