Are you working with a travel advisor that specializes in working with handicapped individuals? If not, make sure they understand your limitations. If it’s a 3rd party firm vs Holland America, you may be better served to book directly to ensure they are aware of your needs up front and ensure you have the the right accommodations.

I’ve asked the travel advisor for the trip and they have requested it on my behalf. Whil’s I’m taking my luggy I do need support going to the bathroom etc and just wondered abut what was available or for hire on board to make it easier – just in case.

I’m going on a cruise from Toyoko to Alaska on Holland America Westerdam. I’m taking my Luggie as I don’t walk very well. I saw post (not on this site) that said if you were immune compromised you shouldn’t go cruising. What do you think.
I’ve also requested a disablity cabin, but haven’t heard and chances are slim at getting one I think.…
