This is one of many ways the airport is working to make travel more accessible.
While I certainly wouldn’t go as far as saying “risk free”, hopefully this will cut down on damaged mobility devices due to staff lifting by parts that shouldn’t be used for lifting!

Aviramp has recently launched the Chair Lifter, a wheelchair lifter that makes air travel accessible, where wheelchairs may otherwise be too heavy to lift into aircraft holds.
