Do you feel that VR experiences are good or bad for accessible travel?
On one hand, it allows people who cannot easily travel to go places they couldn’t otherwise go. But I’m always nervous it will become an excuse to not make places accessible (“instead of doing renovations we could just give them a VR helmet…”)

I’ve tried a VR setup in a very limited capacity, and while it looks very cool, personally I have to pass on VR tours. I can’t turn my head enough, usually you hold controls in both hands so I can’t turn in wheelchair too, and the controllers are too awkward to use for my limited dexterity. I have not tried the helmet before, only virtual tours on computers. This may be ok for historical places that simply are impossible to adapt, but I think it should be used more as a last resort.
