Checking with the hotel was always in the cards but I wanted to check if there was any first hand experience here as well.

I know about the form but I couldn’t look at the fields as the only sample I found is too low resolution. I guess I will have to see when contacting the hotel 🙂

So I have completed our reservations for the Shinkansen using the JR Smart Ex website. I registered with the app using my credit card and this was straightforward.

Booking our reservations was not straightforward but not difficult once I understood the seating diagram.
