Visiting Japan with a Disability
Hello,
I’m looking at travelling in October 2024, and don’t have set plans yet but would visit like to visit Tokyo, Osako, Kyoto etc. and ideally 2 weeks. My concern is though is that, I have a physical disability and use an electric wheelchair and require:
1. A commode for showering
2. A patient lifter to transfer in and out of my bed…

Mine is not manual, it’s a power chair that was where I was getting hung up on the website because I saw that Manuel wheelchairs and strollers were not recommended for the park but nothing about power chairs

You do not need to find “1-person” -labeled place. It is a bit of travel from Tokyo down town but Inashiro Yakiniku is perfectly accessible. https://inashiroyakinikuseisakujyo.com/ 1 min. walk from Minamitama Station, JR Nambu Line.
