Closest Car Park for 2 cars at the Nippon Budokan Stadium Tokyo
Posted by lyndell on February 19, 2025 at 1:04 pmHi, we are a family with 2 cars , wanting to park close to Nippon Budokan Stadium, as public transport is not something we want to do as there is to many children with us, Hoping to find somewhere close and affordable for two cars for a concert on the 24th April at the stadium. There is some disabilities also why I am asking if hopefully someone may know, Please and Thankyou.

Hi Lyndell-san,
I was also interested in this as well, so I called the Nippon Budokan, but they said that there was no parking for disabled people either.
However, the Kitano-maru No. 3 parking lot, which is right in front of the Nippon Budokan, will be open from 5pm on 24th April.
As it is a public parking lot, the fee is also cheap, at 2000 yen per car.

Enjoy the concert!
Sensational thankyou so much ! I really appreciate that, it helps so much. I will look now ⭐️
My pleasure @lyndell -san!
No.3 parking lot is usually closed at 5pm, but the parking manager said that because of the concert that day, the parking lot would conversely be open at 5pm.
Be aware that you can only enter the parking from Daikancho-Dori ave. (south side)!
Enjoy the concert with your family♪
Thank you so much ! I really appreciate that update ! Super star ⭐️ Lyndell
Probably a obvious question, but it seems you are very local , we are coming from Australia for a few weeks, so this information really helps me. But is it open also during the day? It be great to cone early and also to check out the Imperial Palace which i believe is close also on the same area near the stadium, that would certainly be a double bonus day 🪭⭐️ if it is .
Ps
are tattoos really unacceptable in Japan how often do we need to hide them? I don’t want to offend anyone!
As for tattoos, there are many travellers with tattoos, so don’t worry!
One thing, if you want to go to a Japanese public bath or “Onsen”, unfortunately many places do not accept tattoos.
If you are staying at a hotel or Ryokan(Japanese inn) with a large bath, check with the hotel.
In this case, if you want to enjoy the Onsen, you should book a private bath!
Your friendly atmosphere and a smile would be perfect!! ^^
Welcome to Japan @lyndell -san, I hope you enjoy your visit to Tokyo!
Yes, we are a travel agency specialising in wheelchair travel,
and our office is close to Tokyo Station and the Imperial Palace, so I often drive past the Nippon Budokan!Kitano-maru No. 3 parking lot is reserved for large buses until 5pm that day.
No. 1/2 parking lot, 500 m from the Nippon Budokan, are open from 8:30am to 10pm (2,000 yen per car).
And if you can climb the stairs and cross the overpass, you will find the north gate to the Imperial Palace just in front of No. 2 parking.
However… many of the highlights of the Imperial Palace are in the southern area,
And to get there, you will have to walk (or ride a wheelchair) a distance of 1.5-2 km from the parking. The Imperial Palace is a very big place!
So if you really want to enjoy both the concert and the Imperial Palace, sometimes it is more convenient to take a taxi or subway, although the discussion goes back to the beginning.
Please plan according to your comfort!Thankyou again! We will park close to the stadium, as they can walk but very slow, this information is very valuable thankyou again ! Definitely will be taking the first option when that car park opens at 5pm . ⭐️
Yes, I would recommend that too! No. 3 parking is really right in front of the Budokan!
There are many other fun places to visit in Tokyo, so enjoy the daytime with your family!
