I need a hoyer for transfers but don’t have a portable one, any advice for somebody traveling multiple cities that needs a lift, the trip is the total of 10 days, any advice would be helpful

Long time no see!
Are you going to nijigennomori too?
Well… would you like to use hoyer in your accommodation in each city? To fulfill your wish, you must find a hotel with a lift. However, there are very few accommodations with lifts. The only other way is to ask a caregiver to rent one. There are accommodations with lifts in Osaka… I may have introduced them to you before.
Please feel free to contact us anytime.
Thank you.
Tak
Yes, I was hoping to rent for the hotel in each city I visit. I have seen other people visiting Japan have done it, I just need to know how
Or find out the process for bringing mine from home
I went 2 times in Japan and stayed in different hotels in Tokyo and Kyoto.
I rented a hoist using @ohayotravel services, you can contact them to rent one.
Don’t hesitate to contact me if you need more contact information.
Thank you so much Stephanie! I will definitely check into this
I contacted them, unfortunately it looks like I can only rent from them in Tokyo because I have to be trained in using the Lift in Tokyo. That doesn’t work because Tokyo is our last stop on the trip. I’ll look into renting from them while I am in the capital, but I’ll have to find other rental companies for my other two stops
I guess you can ask them for renting in another cities also.
I know this “training” question may seem strange for people outside Japan, but they want to be sure that you will use the materiel appropriately and will not harm yourself using it. Maybe you can ask to do the training only once in the first city you rent the hoist, I think it will be easier to manage the rental with only one company.
If you want me to discuss with them, please PM and I can help if you want.
