Agreed! Similarly, I have been saved by google street view when planning a route to an important meeting, but the issue wasn’t visible on the maps view. The shortest route had me going up a stairway with dozens of steps, if I hadn’t double checked it the detour may of made me late. An app like this would be welcome.
