Group Description
Connect with travelers with disabilities and welcoming locals, offering tips on accessible hotels, wheelchair-friendly attractions, and transportation in South Africa. From Cape Town’s Table Mountain and the Cape of Good Hope to Kruger National Park’s wildlife safaris and Johannesburg’s Apartheid Museum, whether you’re visiting for the first time or returning to explore more, this is the place to ask about accommodations, getting around, or inclusive activities – someone here has likely experienced it before. You’ll find first-hand reviews, travel tips, and recommendations for cultural, historical, and nature experiences. This group welcomes wheelchair and mobility aid users, plus travelers with autism, sensory sensitivities, and low vision, helping you enjoy a more accessible South Africa adventure.

I will ask one of my team members to comment on other cities with some suggestions on where their most accessible visits were.
From the airport, there are shuttle services for travellers with wheelchairs – MLT Car Hire & Tours have just added a wheelchair accessible vehicle to their fleet, there is also Travel with Renee. If you are looking for Tour Operators, then Epic Enabled do tours for people with disabilities, including safaris in Kruger National Park. They also have an accessible guest house here in Cape Town.
I will get back to you shortly with some suggestions of things to do in other cities.
