Hi, I was thinking about travelling to Japan sometime soon with my Dad and I’ve run into a pretty big hurdle in the process. I have Muscular Dystrophy and to use the bathroom I can’t really use the toilet for number 2 without some kind of commode or something similar to sit on. Has anyone else ever had this problem and did you find a solution?

Hey!
Unfortunately rental companies here are unlikely to rent a commode for hygienic reasons. You may want to look into a travel commode like this: https://www.nuprodx.com/product/mc4000tx/
Though, of course it is extra luggage 😢

My husband is a quadriplegic and we travel quite a bit. We have found that the best product for us is something called the shower, buddy Travel chair. We have tried others and found them inadequately supportive or simply too heavy.
here is the link to the company. https://shower-buddy.com/products/eco-traveller-sb7e.

But that was fine with me because I’m afraid of heights and I could see fine from the windows inside where I was safe. I have to look up the name of…
