Fushima inari
Hi there
Im heading to Japan with my sister in May and would love to take her to the Fushima Inari Tori gates. I know that not all of the Tori gates are accessible so we would only see a few. Where my confusion is, Accessible Japan advises that
a. There is an elevator that will take you to the start of the gates
b. Get there early before 9am…

The elevator at Fushimi Inari Shrine is available until 4 PM. You must use the elevator to reach the torii gates. You can pass through the main torii gate, so you can enjoy the experience without having to see all of them.

From Taipei to Okinawa power wheelchair issue
Just sharing an experience that I had recently while flying from Taipei to Okinawa (Naha) with EVA Air.

Traveling with your own mobility scooter — worth it or not?
Some people swear by bringing their own travel scooter on international trips. Others rent at the destination. If you’ve done either (or both), what worked better for you? Anything you wish you’d known before your first trip with one?
I’ve always travelled with my manual chair, but I hire a power chair at the destination I’m going to, not sure if this helps, but that’s what I do
