I find the amount of first-hand experiences with damaged equipment among the respondents absolutely shocking. Even though it matches my own experience.

I had that a few times in North America, but not so much in Japan (they love to wrap things up!)
For me, the biggest challenge is always the toilet. Things are better on long haul flights now, but short flights are typically impossible. I’m a dehidrator!
