Be on time when you’ve made a commitment, incl. all transportation plans. Planes will not wait for you. Make sure anyone accompanying you knows this and is just as responsible.
And, don’t let fear control you. Yes, there’s always a risk of broken equipment when you fly. But, keep in mind that stuff can happen the instant you wheel/walk out of your home’s front door.
