• Simple one today folks: How accessible is your town? Tell us below where you’re from and how the access is there!

Bonus points if it’s a part of the world not many have heard of before.

      • Not bad. The run-up to Tokyo’s Olympics and Paralympics helped speed up change and Tokyo’s public transportation is great. Unfortunately, small restaurants etc are still a challenge…

        • I’m from London UK and although not everywhere is accessible most places are and if they aren’t most do try to provide with ramps, etc. to get into the venues. I know that London hosted a very successful Olympics and Paralympics in 2012 so that has certainly helped push the accessibility in the minds of place’s owners

          • Interesting to hear of the effect of the Olympics and Paralympics on several of the cities listed here. Hopefully the same will happen in Paris!

          • I am from San Diego, CA. We have accessible buses that can take us to doctor appointments and school appointments. Most places are wheelchair accessible, but some historical or older locations are not…

            • I visited Sydney Australia last May and the city is VERY accessible, the trains, buses and venues all have good access. I must admit I haven’t visited any other Olympic City since I’ve been in a wheelchair so can’t comment on their accessibility
