Hello! I’m Eleonora, I am from Rome but I live in Brussels, Belgium, and I have been a member of Tabifolk as “myself” for quite some time (if you want to connect I am @eleonora_censorii ).
More or less a year ago, I created WheelTribe, a website born out of the idea that if you love to organise your own trips, and you have accessibility needs when travelling, you should be able to do it on your own. Also, I have been checking out places, hotels, activities in Europe for quite a long time, and wanted to share all the info I have been collecting, and wanted to put it online somwhere – so here it is now on WheelTribe.eu, where every week I try to add some new place or activity. The project is the non-profit part of Destination Everywhere, my company where I do destination marketing – ONLY for the destinations that are accessible and inclusive (only the good ones!).
At WheelTribe, I focus on Europe (for now!) and share tips, destination guides, and lived experiences around things like:
🏖️ Accessible beaches in Italy
⛰️ Adaptive hiking with Joëlettes
⛵ Inclusive sailing schools and adventures
🍝 Barrier-free itineraries and foodie stuff in cities like Rome or Bruges
I’d love to connect with anyone who wants tips or travel ideas or places to stay, I can contribute with honest and practical tips, and if you have tips, stories, or places you think I should include in the WheelTribe website, please reach out!
Looking forward to sharing and learning with you all – BIG HUG from Brussels

1 CommentOh, I forgot, here is the website, and I’d like to start by sharing a really cool place I have been to last year, an all accessible beach, completely for free in beautiful APULIA (which is the tip of the heel of the “Italian boot” https://www.wheeltribe.eu/products/io-posso-san-foca-accessible-beach
