Bundaberg has some great wheelchair accessible experiences. One of the really special ones is the Mon Repos Turtle Sanctuary. From late October, marine turtles come onto the beach to lay their eggs and the eggs hatch from around Christmas time. During this season there are nightly turtle encounter tours lead by staff from the Mon Repos Turtle Centre. Visitors can use a beach wheelchair on the tour.
