Update from Seoul Danurim

(I cannot believe I have to have a Korean representative/guarantor to hire a wheelchair!?!)

The Seoul Danurim Tourism Center provides wheelchair rentals during operating hours.

The operating hours of both the center and the wheelchair rental stations are from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on weekdays.

As September 27th is Saturday, rentals are not available.

We also provide delivery to hotels or tourist sites within Seoul; however, the delivery service is only available between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on weekdays. 

We kindly ask for your understanding that deliveries cannot be made outside these hours.

For both pick-up and return, you or an identified representative (requires contact information available in Korea) who can prove the relationship with you must be present in person. 

At that time, a simple contract form must be completed, the passport verified, and a deposit paid before receiving the wheelchair. 

Upon return, the wheelchair is checked for any damage, and the deposit is refunded in person.

Therefore, the available option through the Danurim Center would be to arrange delivery to your hotel on Monday, September 29, during delivery hours (between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.), 

and to return it via hotel delivery on October 1st by 5:00 p.m.

Please note again that you or the authorized representative must be on-site when receiving and returning the wheelchair.

Regarding WheelShare, as you inquired:

Reservations must be made online in advance, and a Korean national with verifiable identification must register as a member and accompany you on the rental day. Pick-up and return must be done at the rental location (Incheon Airport Terminal 1) during their operating hours (07:00–19:00, open year-round).
