I have a question about European opera houses. A catch-22 situation has happened to me three times recently. I am a (Canadian) wheelchair user. Within recent years, in order to book a wheelchair seat on-line, I must show a disability ID card certifying my disability. I cannot get such a card as I’m not an EU citizen and we don’t have these cards in Canada (as far as I know). Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone have any ideas?

Do you need to upload an image etc?
While it wouldn’t likely be officially recognized per se, you may want to get an Access2 Card. It does require a form filled out by a healthcare professional, so if asked you can show them the application requires that and it is the only option available…

I am not sure, I’ve never experienced this with my mom. Do you have an international wheelchair parking card? that could be proof enough or a doctors note.
