Windsor Castle
My two Support Workers and I went to Windsor on Friday. None of us had been before, and we were thrilled when we entered the Castle and the man at the gate told us the King was in residence. (I, of course, said it was because we were there! 😊)
The closest we came to a royal sighting was a Policeman with a submachine gun standing outside, and a Guard marching up and down along the row of offices. Still, we were absolutely delighted by how many of the staff were happy to speak with us openly about what the late Queen and the King are like during their Annual Christmas Staff Party.

This is so cool! You’ve definitely come a lot closer to Royalty than I ever have. How amazing would it have been if you spotted HRH and he gave you a little wave 😀

Awesome! Glad to hear the staff were nice. Were most of the areas accessible? I vaguely remember going when I was 12… many years ago!
