Is the SmartDrive acceptable at Japanese airports?
Hi everyone,
I know this question seems strange to ask because flying with a smart drive isn’t an issue when flying in North America or Europe.
My biggest fear is being stuck in a country because check-in staff/airport security wouldn’t let me fly with my smart drive, even though it is IATA certified.

I recently did the form and I got told to contact Ohayo Travel. They unfortunately only do pick up and returns in Tokyo but they have both manual and electric wheelchairs and the delivery is included in the price. How much it is depends on how long you rent it but up to 7 days is 29,000 yen for the standard manual, 32,000 for the large manual,…
