Reply To: Happy Japan Railroad day
And to you as well!
If you are interested in the history of trains in Japan, be sure to check out the The Railway Museum in Saitama (just outside Tokyo).
They have a very detailed set of exhibits including many historic trains. All exhibits are easily viewable from a wheelchair and a number of the trains have ramps up to them so you can explore the insides as well.
There are elevators and accessible washrooms and all stations you use to get there are fully accessible as well. There is a toilet for guide dogs as well.
Here is the museum English website: https://www.railway-museum.jp/e/
And this PDF also shows the map and toilets etc: https://www.railway-museum.jp/pdf/flmap_eng.pdf
