Reply To: Asking for accessible room in hotels
Hi, if your booking is a “normal” room, it is in many cases difficult to change it to an accessible room keeping the reservation. I think you need to book an accessible room through hotel’s direct booking site. There are cases that they do not show an accessible room on their own site and in such a case you need to book it by phone or by mail or fax communication (not through the rweb eservation system). The price can naturally be different between external booking sites (like booking.com) and the hotel’s direct website. There are cases they offer rooms with accessible features at higher prices than their “normal” rooms due to the larger room spaces, and there are cases they offer at the same rate as other rooms regardless of the size of the room.
