Sounds like you won’t have problems finding them then. When you’re in the diaper section at the supermarket/drugstore, just look for the kg part on the label (screenshot attached for reference). No need for prescriptions. One pack usually has around 25-30 diapers. Hope this helps and safe travels to Japan!
