I visited the Chuo center, but they were already booked out. A reservation is recommended for renting a wheelchair from them.
However, they referred me to another visitor center in Shinjuku, and that location had a wheelchair available for me. So I recommend the info center that’s on the 3rd floor of the Shinjuku bus terminal (southern part of the station).

I was also shown this website for ordering a wheelchair rental for longer periods of time, but you need to give them advance notice.
