Reply To: Accessible taxis in Ishigaki Japan
I reached out to a number of companies and it seems Azuma Taxi is the only one on the island with a van that has a ramp. They have tours etc of different lengths but they only operate until 5pm(!).
There apparently is one company that has the London Black Cab-esque JapanTaxi but it doesn’t run every day and you can only know by calling the same day.
Unfortunately they only speak Japanese, so you will likely need an English-speaking travel agent to help, or possibly a hotel willing to arrange bookings for you.
