Reply To: Visiting Japan with a Disability
Hello.
I am a licensed caregiver and tour conductor.
If you are visiting Kyoto or Osaka, I recommend you use Osaka as your base of operations.
Because there are accommodations that you need.
Regarding 1, is it okay if there is a shower head on the sink?
Regarding 2, it is not a problem. You can also take a bath.
Regarding 3, it may be a little difficult, but we can find it.
Are you coming to Japan alone?
Also, if you could tell us the size of your wheelchair (height, width, length, weight),
we can provide you with better information.
There are very few accommodations that you want.
You need to make a reservation early.
Please feel free to contact us with any questions.
Thank you.
