Knowing beforehand that they are willing to work with us on those kind of issues is already a great relief and a good indication they wouldn’t be against the presence of a hoist during our stay.
I saw on the review of another hotel brand that they solved this kind of issue by putting the bed on blocks to create the necessary gap: perhaps they’ll agree to do this but I hope those boards are just for aesthetic reasons and thus removable.
We will be in touch regarding the hoist when we finalise the dates.
