Reply To: Booking Wheelchair Seats on the Shinkansen
I have tried the Smart-Ex and it it only seems to be able to do tickets for the route from Tokyo to Kyushu. Unfortunately I have found no way to buy any of the other train tickets I need in advance. JR don’t allow the sale of wheelchair seats by authorised agents outside of Japan. Are there any agents inside Japan who can arrange tickets for other Shinkansen and Limited Express trains? I don’t really have the flexibility to wait until I arrive in Japan to get tickets.
