I live in Japan and after reading your message, you made me check the news. There are some cases for sure, but nothing that is making the daily evening news. So, I feel if you look you’ll find it, but nothing making the morning/evening news like serious outbreak would. I did some searches and the only thing I could find were some schools etc where everyone was eating the same thing.
Obviously, you know your condition better than anyone and which risks you are willing to take, so the final judgement lays with you, but there are currently no “outbreaks” etc.
