Reply To: Mobility scooter hire Japan
I joined this group for the same reasons. I’m going to Japan next year in October. Flying to Tokyo then a cruise stops at quite a few ports where we can get off for the day. I’ve been terrified as I have paid my deposit and travel insurance and since then have been worried how I’ll get around. I use a walker at home and I have a car that I can drive. I just can’t stand very long. I’m a large girl. I’ve used electric scooters in the US twice which has enabled me to get out and have a life. I was starting to think I’d have to hire an electric wheelchair in Japan. I’m glad to hear they have the scooters 🛵 over there. I might be getting my own yet and it sounds like some companies will let you take them on the plane. I really would like to know what places this wouldn’t work. I hear there are a lot of stairs. I’d love to hear from anyone that has some experience please. I’ll go look at the links now and see what they offer. Thankyou!!
