Yeah, I can relate to not being a regular taxi rider (Japan’s other public transport is pretty reliable), but there is the odd time once or twice a year that I do ride in them for business or pleasure. In those instances their convenience is greatly appreciated!! Mobility is a multifaceted topic with no one-fits-all solution, but this type of taxi breaks down the barriers that some wheelchair users faced before, so if that opens up more possibilities for more people, I think things are moving in the right direction.
