I would park just anywhere. Usually by the store I was going not blocking anything
Thank you both for asking and sharing! Is it legal to ride into stores if there is room? And to ride on the pavement? I’m worried about crowds. (Among other things 😄) TIA!

I was able to park my scooter right outside the shops, alongside peoples bicycles. Never had an issues.
Thanks all! Just making sure it was safe and acceptable. Know Shinjuku crowded like Don Quijote and Daiso and doesn’t look like much sidewalk space to park the mobility scooter.
I have had to park my wheelchair outside restaurants before and they even covered it with a cloth so it wouldn’t get dust on it! I found Japan to very safe and you should have no issues as long as it’s not in the way.
