Ropeway and cable car accessibility in Kobe
Hello everyone. I am new here, but I will be going on my 6th trip to Japan in about 2 months. I can walk short distances and stand for extended periods, but I use a mobility scooter for traveling. In particular, I use a folding atto scooter (https://us.movinglife.com/products/atto-mobility-scooter)
I will be going to Kobe on my next trip, and I am interested in taking the nunobiki ropeway and possibly the Mt rokko cable car (I’m not sure, but after studying Google maps it appears there may actually be two separate cable cars).
I am wondering if my scooter will be okay for these, or what my options might be if not (my scooter is 120 cm long in drive mode (more than the apparent 114 cm limit for the ropeway], but can fold into trolley mode). @joshgrisdale was kind enough to have written an article on accessible Japan about the nunobiki ropeway , which led me to have further questions. Thanks also to @ohayotravel for directing me to this community.
