Hi Karen, I know that problem and I’m very sensitive to cold too. I got a heat blanket for lorry drivers. They run on 24v just like power wheelchairs. I just had to build an adapter because the blanket had a connector to the cigarette lighter and the wheelchair has the usual round 3-pinned socket for charging (which is called XLR). What most people don’t know is that the connector cannot only be used for charging but there is also the voltage from the batteries. So actually any device that runs on 24v can be powered using that port…
