    • I am here in Japan as we speak and I’m using a WHILL mobility scooter and travelled from Ginza to Shibuya on the Ginza line today. Both train staions are accessible which is great but when I lined up at the disabilty spot to board the train the step up from the platform was too tall for me to drive on. I had to disengage my brakes and my family had to help me lift the scooter onto the train. I was able to drive off the train backwards. It was in my mind, “how on earth would someone manage this in a wheelchair “ and it was the same coming back again. When I was sitting on the train I was watching each platform as the doors opened and they were completely flat. Is there any way to notify the train staff to this problem?
