Hi everyone,
I’m visiting Japan with some family members in mid October this year and I’m feeling very unsure about it. I can’t walk but will be renting a WHILL model F for the duration of the trip because my mobility is limited due to almost lifelong rheumatoid arthritis.. The holiday is now fully paid for so no possibility of cancelling.

Ruth my husband (power wheelchair user) and I visited Japan for 2 weeks last November.
The most significant problem we faced was finding accessible restaurants. Other than that most of what we found was accessible.
Somewhere on this site someone posted a list of accessible restaurants in Tokyo that would be helpful for you

I use a power wheelchair and have lived in Japan for almost 20 years. You certainly can! Sure there are many stairs, but nearly always an alternative accessible route. People saying that are just using the non-accessible routes so just see those. Don’t worry!
