Tokyo Accessible Hotel Update (2017/11/1)
Hello,
Just added Hilton Tokyo and Haneda Excel Hotel to our growing list of hotels with accessible rooms in Tokyo. Check them out here:
They are not perfect, but our goal is to help people make decisions based on their needs. Hopefully this will help someone make a good booking, or save them from a bad one!

Hi again @Lightdanger.
I was recently at Keio Plaza Hotel in Shinjuku to look at the accessible room. They do not have anything for ostomy in the room itself, but the accessible washroom on the ground floor was fully equipped and ostomy friendly.
I expect that this will be the pattern throughout Japan.

Your email really made me sad. That the lack of understanding from your tour operator could be such a discouragement. Sure, it is custom to remove your shoes in Japan, but people are very understanding. There are people in wheelchairs, orthopedic braces and with artificial legs here too!
