When I took my daughter to Japan earlier this year we used her blue badge parking permit (UK government issue) with generally positive results. It’s got her name and photo on it and it is in multiple languages. I think Australia has something similar.

In London we have a scheme where my support worker can come in at a discount or for free depending on the production or venue. My support workers are sometimes allowed to travel for free (if we have a sympathetic bus driver😀of course)

We don’t have that here in the US and I don’t expect it to happen here because we’re still very ableist as a nation. And, right now, there are higher priorities, such as racists kidnapping people off the streets. (No, that is not an exaggeration.)
Here, it’s on an attraction-by-attraction basis. Some allow carers/caregivers to get free…

Tokyo Disney - getting & using electric wheelchair or scooter
Rented mobility scooter at Tokyo Disney. It’s slow, 3km is max speed which is a crawl. Wondered why I didn’t see anyone using the scooter but it did allow me to have a seat to rest when there weren’t seats available.
