Shower Commode
Hi
is it possible to rent a bathroom commode that goes over a toilet or is it best to bring our own travel one ?
Thanks all
Josh Grisdale2 CommentsJust to confirm, by commode, do you mean one with wheels and a hole in the seat for using the toilet as well? (sorry for being direct!) Or a shower chair?
Most hotels have a shower chair* so that should be fine. However, for a commode with toilet functionality, the hotels ones and rental companies generally don’t rent them for hygienic reasons.…
Basically no, they don’t rent. I ordered a basic one from Amazon JP for 17,000 yen ($160 Canadian) and shipped to my wife’s sister place, but you can have it shipped to a Hotel, just need address. You’ll have to enter in the Japanese postal code (7 digits- 000-0000) or Amazon will default to what can be shipped to your country.

@tak runs a taxi in Osaka that can help as well.
I stayed at Universal Port. It’s right across the…

Hello. I run a taxi company in Osaka for people with disabilities. I would like to know why the Whill wheelchair is not suitable for your son. It is difficult to give specific advice without knowing what features you are looking for. Thank you.
