• We hear a lot of varying reports on how different airlines treat passengers with disabilities. Some are great and some are definitely NOT great. Today though, let’s focus on the positives. Do you have any amazing experiences flying with a particular airline that you’d be willing to share? Which airline have you found was the best for you as a traveler with a disability? Let us know in the comments below! (Also be sure to join the “Flying with a Disability” group here on tabifolk!)

      • I’m a wheelchair user and we flew from Heathrow to Singapore, stayed there a few days then on to Sydney with Singapore Air and they were amazing. The crew were incredibly helpful to me and my 2 assistants getting me down the aisle firstly to get me to my seat and then getting the 1 assistant from Economy Class to me in Business Class to go to the toilet. They did this beautifully on all 4 flights we took with them. I would recommend them HIGHLY😀

The vehicle that took disabled passengers to the terminal actually had a mechanism that detached the cabin and deposited us on the sidewalk so we did not have to negotiate the curb. I have never seen anything like it!
