I see what you mean with windows – but trains are different from one another, some will have windows some not, I was seated near the wheelchair space recently, going down from Venice to Bologna, and there was a window, but the space for the wheelchair is a separate space, which sometimes has just that white wall, so not necessarity the window is next to the seat, maybe a little bit after or before, or opposite. It’s not a claustrophobic space though, the area is wide.
