Terrifying car ride, Laundry and Tottori Sand Dunes
If you are into scary mountain drives in the rain, with deer, wet leaves, curvy hairpin turn roads without much gas ending with laundry and a camel ride in beautiful weather by the Tottori Dunes this is the video for you.
I mention some accessibility at the Tottori Dunes. Part 1 mentions the ramps. This is a two part video. I’m working on part 2 now that will show the beach wheelchairs that are available at the visitor center.

@joshgrisdale Wow! I wish Chet and I were back there now. I’m at work :). I really liked this town. The Sand Museum was amazing.
I will be interested in what you think. The information center seemed very accessible. What do you think about the beach wheelchairs? Are they helpful? I’ve never been with anyone who has tried them.

@betsy The Sand Museum was great – way better than I imagined.
When I was there in 2000 it was closed for sculpting the the sculptures for that year. I did try the beach wheelchair though. But different than on a beach, going up the dunes took a lot of work for my companions!

I know the Sand Museum was incredible I wish I was so talented. I’m sure pushing a beach wheelchair up those dunes was difficult for your companions.
