There are many websites that already do that. You don’t pay extra for the assistance. That’s what a travel agent does.
Why not get paid to do it? There’s a growing market for travel agents that specialize in that.

We don’t have that here in the US and I don’t expect it to happen here because we’re still very ableist as a nation. And, right now, there are higher priorities, such as racists kidnapping people off the streets. (No, that is not an exaggeration.)

Update: It appears the shop I previously linked is mostly for pediatric wheelchairs. I’m sure they know of repair shops that repair adult wheelchairs, though.

I used Google and searched for “Kyoto wheelchair repair”. This came up: https://g.co/kgs/tvS8Hdf If they don’t know English, use Google Translate for translation. If that doesn’t help and your chair brand is also in Japan, showing them the problem should be enough for them to know the help that you need.

No More Free Checked Luggage on Southwest Airlines
Yeah, that’s why I preferred them. Baggage fees can ‘make or break’ affordability. Plus, they haven’t damaged my chair yet. And, I mostly fly along the West Coast, so they’re usually the most affordable.
