I agree! I’ve been unable to get a hold of anyone from JAL. I submitted my request for special assistance and my booking says the request is registered but I always like to confirm things by phone especially as it gets closer to flight date but it has been impossible to connect by phone. I was able to get an email address when I asked Google Gemini (AI). It even drafted an email template for me. The email didn’t bounce back so I hope it’s legit. I sent it yesterday so I haven’t heard back.

I think you do need reservations for Narita Express or Keisei SkyLiner. But there are also regular express trains that you can just get on. So, while waiting for another answer, at least be reassured you will have an option no matter what.
