If you are still in Tokyo visit teamLab Borderless in Azabudai Hills, access via Ningyocho station, (south exit). They have discounted tickets for disabled and carer. There’s only one room you can’t access and they are very helpful. It’s breathtaking.

We visited the National Museum, which is beautifully designed, and the old palace. Yesterday we went for a hike along the Han River. Today we’re heading to Tokyo. I’m really excited!

How was the accessibility in your opinion?

For me accessibility was fine. The busses are a bit crowded and not all of them are equipped with ramps but if you wait for some minutes you can take a ride. Other than that everything else was very smooth.

My girlfriend and I will come to Japan in a couple of days and we’ll travel the country for 4 weeks. In fact we’re just on the way to Seoul which is our stopover until Friday. One thing comes into my mind. We’re thinking about what to do with some parts of our luggage as we already have a lot to carry and some of the stuff we don’t actually need with us all the time. For example I have a special pillow which I only need on the plane. Or we have a spare breathing machine in case the first one breaks. Importing it… Read more
