Hello!
I have the opportunity to talk with a major airline about challenges and possible improvements for accessibility.
They want a variety of perspectives so I wanted to ask here about the needs and hopes of everyone.
The discussion has mostly to do with the airplane itself but all ideas are welcome!

Much appreciation for being a part of this important collaboration! Some important things, although not comprehensive, are assuring an aisle chair is on board and in working condition, have movable arm rests for transfers from the aisle chair into traditional seats, have restrooms which are appropriately sized and equipped (ie grab bars)…

A broken one-piece frame could mean the whole frame might need to be replaced. Your best bet might be to try a reseller/branch office if they do rental or can offer a fix, like Permobil PKK Japan who resell TiLite active chairs, or Japanese domestic wheelchair companies like TIG Titanium, Miki Mobility, MATSUNAGA. You can try searching for “福祉” on Google Maps. You should be able to find places that sell wheelchairs. Manual wheelchairs are not very expensive.
Or you can check on Mercari to see if there are any second-hand ones.
