Hey! 👋🏼 Brit here… I did a little digging and it seems that whilst US parking permits aren’t officially recognised in the UK, it all boils down to whether or not the traffic warden is feeling charitable or not, which 99 times out of 100, they never are. If you get a parking ticket the rental company will likely charge your credit card.

petecWe have just returned from a 20 day trip around Taiwan. We were astonished how wheelchair accessible this country is. Ramps, dropped curbs, clean and free of charge public toilets everywhere. Very friendly and helpful people. Extremely clean. We absolutely love Taiwan 😍😍
We travelled with Voyager in Taiwan which we can highly recommend.

My wife and I will be traveling to England and Northern Ireland and renting a car at points. We have a US disabled parking placard. Can we use this in these areas? If not, is there another way to be able to legally access disabled parking spaces?
